Ok. Call me crazy but. I know there is still question whether or not coconut oil is acceptable to smoke with cautions of getting pneumonia. As there are cautions with smoking anything. After having multiple failed attempts of emulsifying extracts into ejuice, I’ve found no better harmony that coconut oil. Matter of fact it’s so easy, it doesn’t even matter (as far as emulsifying, not color) if it’s winterized or not and temperatures can be as low as the concentrates melting point. Leaving the highest possible terp content. It mixes immediately without effort. Now with said precautions, my next attempt will be too dissolve the concentrate in a small amount of coconut, then cut the rest with pg. It’s just too bad coconut oil has such a bad rep when it comes to vaping.

It is not necessary to add anything to extracts to get them to flow like oil in a vape pen. I dissolve extract in isopropyl alcohol, chill for 20 min, soin in a centrifuge, then add the dewaxed extract and isopropyl alcohol mix to an equal amount of water. The water removes the lions share of the harsh terps and the oil when dried of the water and iso is generally red, flows easily in a vape pen, is hyper potent and fruity.

My hope is that processers will offer oils made thusly that are stripped of unnecessary terps and waxes and purified at the retail point rather than at home.
