Find out how CBD can Help with Stress

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which itself is one of nearly 100 substances of the cannabis plant. The fame of CBD and its benefits is rising with a crazy speed. New brands and new trends appear every year with new promotions and new ideas. Nevertheless, people also have curiosity about how CBD works.

CBD is now present in all possible combinations in a wide variety of products like soaps, lotions, oils, edibles. The wide use of CBD topical for complete relief or CBD organic oil for anxiety is increasing with new investigations and new discoveries about the benefits of this substrate.

Among the uses and beneficial effects of CBD, the one that affects stress and depression is really compelling.

CBD and Serotonin

At high concentrations, CBD directly activates the hydroxytryptamine, serotonin receptor. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is synthesized, among many other places, in our brain. Traditionally, it has been named after the "happiness particle" or the "happiness neurotransmitter." The reason for this is that serotonin is the main one in charge of regulating our mood. This confers an anti-depression effect. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter. It is implicated in the pain reception, stress, anxiety and depression. CBD can help to relieve pain that causes stress, can reduce inflammatory issues that also affect mood and cause stress. These concepts are internally correlated. Pain is sometimes responsible for anxiety and stress. Cannabidiolic acid, also known as CBDA the raw, unheated version of CBD that is present in the cannabis plant, also has a strong affinity for the 5-HT1A receptor.

CBD and Vanilloid

TRPV1, in other words a vanilloid receptor, is also directly interacting with CBD. This receptor acts over the pain, inflammation and body temperature. Evidence suggests that chronic stress plays an important role in the evolution of gastrointestinal disorders. It is thoroughly investigated whether cannabinoid receptor and vanilloid receptor are involved in stress-induced visceral hyperalgesia. To simplify the idea, we can just reformulate the phrase and mention that CBD affects the vanilloid receptor to act and depress stress receptors.

CBD vs Panic

During an investigation, thanks to the administration of CBD on mammals and thanks to its antioxidant properties, some animals, like mice, reduce their fear of predators.

CBD and Anxiety

Brazilian scientists have claimed that the action of CBD on social anxiety thanks to its anxiolytic properties has reduced this disorder by having an action on the limbic areas. In 2016, Spanish researchers also studied the action of Cannabidiol in the management of anxiety disorders: the results showed that CBD offers rapid antidepressant effects. A study, conducted a year earlier, concluded the efficacy of CBD in reducing anxiety disorders that can have multiple origins, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, among others.

To use CBD, simply select a product that suits your needs and start using it in low doses. Depending on how you feel, you can increase your intake as you go.

CBD and Sleep

CBD containing products are highly recommended for insomnia. It is believed that sleep disorders cause serious damage to our mental health. Lack of concentration, nerviosismo and other depressive signs appear if we do not get enough sleep. By using CBD oils or topicals we relieve tension in our body and gain sleep hours. A peaceful sleep can push our brain to work faster, and can reduce stress and anxiety.

Stress is not an illness in itself, but often presents itself as a symptom of an underlying illness. CBD helps alleviate possible medical problems causing stress. More and more people suffer from an anxiety disorder at some point in their life, such as panic disorder, social phobia, OCD, among many others. The calming effects of CBD oil are beneficial for all of them. This effect is sometimes confused with the “high”, nevertheless, it should be considered that CBD is the non-psychoactive component of the plant. It does not cause any euphoria as sometimes some sources mention without argumentation. In reality there is a confusion between the THC and CBD. THC is the component that causes euphoria and “high”. CBD is called medicinal cannabis. It is safe, natural and has lots of positive relaxing effects. Its secondary effects are not harsh.

CBD helps with chronic stress and also alleviates post-traumatic mental disorders.

It is believed that CBD can reduce stress and alleviate issues like pain or inflamation that can affect mental health. Alterations in our physical health very often have consequences on our brain and mood, drive us to unconscious sorrow or depressive behaviour. With the correct use of CBD containing products, balanced diet and positive mentality we will fight anxiety, depression and beat the stress.

Yes, I have been using CBD oil for two weeks for insomnia and everything is fine with me. I used to take the sleep hormone melatonin and also tried sleeping pills, but it caused too many side effects unlike CBD oil.
