Whoooooop, whoooooooop, awhoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!1 A new industrial strength vinyl floor in the skunk lab, compliments of Alpine flooring! Alas, our finished floor slab was not smooth enough, even sealed with floor paint, to keep reputably clean. Rather than continuing to scrub stains in low spots and repaint the floor, we decided to have a easily cleaned vinyl floor installed and as serendipity often happens around here, at that moment enter George, owner of Alpine flooring, who offers to install a floor himself pro bono, out of remnants. Hee, hee, hee, got my tall pointy ears right off and of course I did a professional job of helping him install it, by staying out of his way and offering sage advice and encouragement. Wow, what can I say other than George was so fast and good, he made skim coating the floor and installing the vinyl look easy, not to mention that the price was sure right and it was a kindly thing to do. I'm definitely contacting George at george@alpineinc.org for my next flooring job. Maggie and sweet Lola did their part of course, christening the new floor with muddy paw prints within minutes of its finish!
