As a superannuated (past retirement) Manufacturing Engineer (Jack of all trades/master of none), born in the first half and schooled in the previous century, it is a bit tedious for the tattered old gray wolf as well. Ya got's to hand it to these bright young folks! Short and sweet, as I read it, cannabis pro actively stimulates our bodies endocannabinoid system to clear out debris, that lead to production of inflammatory molecules, which lead to degenerative brain diseases. Phytocannabinoids (plant cannabinoids from our beloved sweet Mary) stimulate our bodies Endocannabionoid systems (bodies system controlling immune system) to remove the accumulation of aggregated, or amyloidlike proteins (http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P51693), common known to be a precursor in most age-dependent neurodegenerative diseases (nerve cell degeneration diseases such as Huntington's and Alzheimer). When not removed, these (Amaloid Beta) protein plaques induces elevation of inflammatory molecules (cytokines/chemokines), that lead to cell toxicity and death. GW
